Byron tests methodically until he finds the actual fault, not just the symptom.
- 03
Explain the fix
You hear what’s wrong in plain language, with options and a price.
- 04
Fix it right
Simple fixes are often done the same visit. Bigger repairs are quoted before work starts.
On a service call
Tracing the problem back to its source
Most electrical problems show up in one place and start in another. Byron traces the circuit back through boxes, splices and breakers until he finds the actual cause.

Questions
Common questions
Don’t see yours? Text Byron. You’ll get a real answer from the person doing the work.
Text a questionHow much does electrical troubleshooting cost?
Troubleshooting starts at $250 and covers diagnostic work that typically takes less than 1 hour. Byron explains what he finds and either fixes it or gives you a price for the repair if the work is substantial.
Why does my breaker keep tripping?
Usually it’s one of three things: too much load on the circuit, a short circuit, or a ground fault. Sometimes it’s a failing breaker. Byron tests to find out which, so you don’t pay for guesses.
Half my house has no power. What happened?
Partial power often points to a problem with one leg of your service, a main breaker, or a connection at the meter or panel. If you smell burning or see scorching, turn off the main breaker if it’s safe to do so, and call SMUD or PG&E as well as WiseCo.
Do you take urgent calls?
WiseCo doesn’t run an after-hours emergency service, but Byron will generally take same-day urgent work when the schedule allows. Call or text and he’ll let you know.
