Starting Prices for Common Electrical Services
Explore starting prices for common electrical projects. Pricing applies to standard installations. Your exact quote depends on scope, access, and conditions—all discussed and confirmed before work starts.
Electrical Panel Upgrade
Replace an outdated or undersized electrical panel and upgrade your home to 200-amp service.
Starting price applies to a straightforward replacement with uncomplicated access and includes standard equipment and required permits.
Starting at $4,400
EV Charger Installation
Install a Level 2 home EV charger with a new dedicated circuit from your electrical panel.
Most EV charger installations require a new circuit. If your home was prewired with a dedicated circuit, your installation may cost less.
Starting at $1,400
New Electrical Circuit
Add a dedicated circuit for an appliance, HVAC system, water heater, workshop equipment or other electrical need.
Starting price assumes available panel capacity, a reasonably accessible wiring route and a standard-length circuit.
Starting at $475
Electrical Troubleshooting
Find the cause of dead outlets, flickering lights, tripping breakers, partial power and other electrical problems. We often solve problems others cannot.
The starting price covers diagnostic work that can typically be done in less than 2 hours. We’ll explain what we find and fix the issue or provide a price for completing repairs if the work is substantial.
Intermittent problems, concealed wiring, multiple affected circuits or unsafe work left by a previous installer may require additional investigation.
Starting at $250
Basic Installations
Install or replace common electrical items, including light fixtures, recessed lighting, outlets, GFCI outlets, switches, dimmers and similar devices.
Starting prices apply when compatible wiring and an approved electrical box are already in place and accessible.
New wiring, attic access, damaged boxes, specialty fixtures, high ceilings and code corrections may affect the price.
Have several small projects? Ask us about completing them during the same visit to save overall.
Starting at $225

We provide residential load calculations for homeowners and for HVAC, plumbing and other contractors planning heat pumps, electric water heaters, solar panels, appliances or related upgrades.
